Recent Drilling Activity in Far West NSW
The team at Resolution Drilling were recently drilling for high-grade cobalt and sulphide at Rimfire Pacific Mining’s Bald Hill target, 30km west of Broken Hill. Extensive sulphides were discovered in all drillholes.
Rimfire are an ASX listed resources exploration company (ASX:RIM) with a huge presence in central NSW.

Broken Hill, also known as the “Silver City”, has a rich mining history and was the birthplace of BHP, (The Broken Hill Proprietary Company), one of the largest global mining companies.
By the end of the 19th century, this remote town was one of the largest sources of lead, zinc and silver in the world! This explains why the region has been mined continuously for over 120 years.
Broken Hill was sitting on top of a giant sulphide lode of over 200 million tonnes, including 50 million tonnes of lead and zinc and 20 000 tonnes of silver.
Today, there are two mining operations in Broken Hill, Perilya and CBH Resources (Rasp Mine).
