Dubbo and the Orana region are positioned at the centre of considerable mining production, development and exploration. In 2013, there were 55 major mining projects in production or in the advanced stages of development within the Orana region.
The mining sector in Dubbo is rapidly growing, and mining exploration in the region is booming with new exploration projects popping up all the time.
The ‘Dubbo Project‘ is a proposed open-cut mine which is looking to mine rare earth elements from the Toongi Deposit, a polymetallic resource 25km south of Dubbo. The deposit contains zirconium, hafnium, niobium, tantalum and yttrium.
Through the exploration drilling process, we help clients in the local Dubbo mining sector discover mineral-rich drilling sites and ore deposits.
